Read my Very Short Story, "Ouija"

"We tasked a talented global writing community to produce their best work. We provided them with 37 challenging prompts. We gave them a strict 280 character limit. From thousands of entries, we selected just 365.What can be achieved with just 280 characters? On these pages you will feel the fabric of love and depths of loss, you will explore mortality and ponder what it truly means to be alive, you will find poetry, prose, wonder, despair, humour and courage. Most of all you will find exceptional thought-provoking authors who are pushing their form to the very limits and beyond. All royalties of this anthology go directly to a children's literacy charity"

A great debut from this author, the writing style reminds me of Roald Dahl's poetry for young children (he's one of my favourite authors so that's not something I say lightly).

I look forward to reading more from this talented writer in the future.

Praise & Reviews

Lovely poem/story, to read with young kids, the characters are fun, likeable and relatable. the story itself is magnificently absurd and very reminiscent of Spike Milligan and Dr Seuss, below the surface of the story there are important issues regarding personal, social, and global issues which are all beautifully written and can easily turn into talking points with your little ones, but they don't take away from the fun narrative. Would love to see this in print in school libraries!

From something small emerges a collection delivered by contributing writers from around the world. The VSS365 Anthology is a shining sampling of all that can be achieved with imagination, precision, brevity, and mutual support. Collectible diversity on every page
